Title: “29125”
Role: Commissioned Artist - Sculpture
Created for Adidas originals’ first flagship store in singapore, the three part sculpture touches on youth local culture and sports.
Inspired by void decks in singapore, where many youths first come into contact with sports apart from schools. The sculptures feature design elements unique to void decks, also named “29125”, after a local lingo/code used for meeting between groups. a loose sound of “tonight want to fight”.
When viewed together, the colours create the iconic adidas trefoil, while each individual piece is made up of deconstructed stan smiths to create the trefoil in form.
